Summer of no sun

the summer of 2008: It's August 19 and we are still waiting for 70 degree temperatures. Even the fish and wild flowers are waiting for the warmth. Here is a shot of the trees in the "Sunshine" area of Alaska, just before you get to Talkeetna, the gathering place for all Mt. McKinley climbers.
